Biography

Yu Ying (余瑛) is an early Chinese film actress. She graduated from Shanghai Qixiu Women's School. In 1922, the Mingxing company was established, and the newspaper invited actors. Yu Ying, her fiancé Hao Jinsheng, and her friend Ms. Yu Yuan went to the audition. At that time, Yu Ying's relatives tried to prevent her from acting, but she entered the Mingxing company anyway.
